Stocks are something that should be considered for investors and issuers before making stock investment decisions. Stocks provide informative statements and signals about the possibility of failure of the company's capital gains. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence that might affect stock prices. Therefore, research needs to be done on the factors that influence stock prices.
This study examines the factors consisting of dividend policy, company size and profitability on stock prices. The population used in this study is focused on food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2018. The number of companies that were sampled were 6 with a period of 6 years, so there were 36 research data. This type of research is causal associative research. Hypothesis testing using Multiple Linear Regression, the sample collection method uses purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that dividend policy has no effect on stock prices, firm size has an effect on stock prices while profitability has no effect on stock prices.
For companies it can be used as a reference in setting stock prices. As for investors, it can be used as a material consideration
