ABSTRAK
This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, solvency, and asset growth on profitability in plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The population of this study is the plantation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique using purposive sampling and obtained a total sample of 7 companies. The research period was 2014 to 2018. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression.
The results of this study indicate that: liquidity has no effect on profitability. This result can be seen from the significant value of CR = 0.188 = 0.05. Solvency affects profitability. This result can be seen from the significant value of DAR = 0.010 = 0.05. Asset growth has no effect on profitability. This result can be seen from the significant value of asset growth = 0.260 = 0.05.
